It’s been a long time coming, I’ve been wanting to do something grand with this site for a long time and I’ve finally got off my bum and put together this website. The site will focus on news and issues affecting Australian Geeks of all ages, but there will also be a lot of fun and informative stuff as well!

Unlike ‘catchall’ geek sites I’ve seen around that don’t get anywhere, Ausgeek will be less about hardware specs and more about sarcasm and intelligent geeky discussion on topics such as Aussie gaming politics and events, tabletop role play and army collecting games (anything with dice really), gadgets & toys for geeks, and PC / Console games.

Head on over to the forums and join up and start contributing… and if you want to write articles for us, check out the ‘write for AusGeek’ page for details about making some pocket money from adsense on your published writings.
